The bidirectional rotary steel dam is a new type of core equipment adaptable to multi-scenario water regulation. Featuring unique advantages of bidirectional water retaining and flood discharge, it serves as an optimal solution for river regulation, flood control dispatching, landscape water systems and other water conservancy projects. The main structure consists of a high-strength anti-corrosion steel dam body, penetrating rotary shaft, precision drive system and foundation support. Adopting hydraulic or electric driving devices, the dam body rotates bidirectionally around the bottom rotary shaft, enabling stepless water flow regulation through flexible opening adjustment. Forward rotation achieves stable water retaining and storage to reach the designed water level, while reverse opening realizes efficient flood discharge and drainage. It also performs gate chamber sediment cleaning and guarantees unobstructed ship navigation, perfectly adapting to complex hydrological changes.

Bidirectional Water Retention Capacity 

The gate can rotate around the hinge pin to realize bidirectional water retention for upstream and downstream, adapting to complex flow conditions and eliminating the limitation of conventional dams which only retain water on a single side and are susceptible to the impact of downstream water levels.


Concealed Engineering Design 

When the gate is laid flat, it is flush with the river bed and hidden under the water surface, without obstructing flood passage channels and ship navigation.

Self-adaptive Sediment Discharge Function 

Strong water flow generated during gate opening and closing scours sediments. Combined with bottom discharge holes, the gate can automatically remove silt, branches and other floating debris.
